What this woman did was essentially sexualize the cooking of food under the guise of modesty all because she technically wears the hijab with loose clothing. Some men might feel it's sexual but may not know why, while others may defend her and say that she's just cooking food (ha!). Let's break down why her "modesty" is all fake:
Makeup. Those fake lashes and lipstick ain't fooling nobody. I'm not saying more than that.
Getting very close to the food to the point that it's intimate. I'm sorry, but no one ever needs to be that close to food when they're preparing it. It's like she's getting ready to make out with it.
She's looking at her food like she wants to f*ck it. Like seriously, who the hell looks at food that way??? She literally has "come f*ck me" eyes with the food she's making, will randomly pause, look up, or play the video in slow motion like she did while cutting one of the carrots and hold eye contact with the camera in the same way. Plus, turning your head that far to the side is intended as a signal to come look at you & what you're doing (which implicates others on a subconscious level to look at your body), and whatever thing you're supposedly looking at (which is the scapegoat she uses to justify having overtly sexual body language).
Look at the way she massages the food after putting the marinade on it; she's touching it lightly as if she's trying to sensually tease it, NOT like she's actually trying to spread the marinade over it. The same goes for the way she washes the potatoes.
She's sucking in her cheeks while making her lips protrude ever-so-slightly (like a duck face but not enough to be called one outright). This is done to exaggerate the prominence of the cheekbones and make the lips appear larger than they really are. This is very well-known in the modeling industry. In fact, if you were to grab any catty girl who's hypercritical of chicks she hates and redirect her focus and energy to a girl like this, she'll tell you the same lol.
There ain't no way in hell any girl is wearing an abaya like that at home, and esp when cooking. It's just so extra. The whole video is extra. The way she acts in ALL of her videos is extra smh.
If you watch some of her other videos, you can see how she arches her back backwards beyond what's considered to simply be "good posture". The reason why women do this is because it essentially pops their tits out a bit and accentuates their curves, and you can see that's exactly what she does, oftentimes in clothing with distinct colors and flare in an ostentatious display of disguised immodesty to further draw extra attention to herself. This is not hijab.
None of this stuff is verbalized, it’s all subcommunication. She’s not saying anything directly, but that doesn't mean she isn't still talking to us. Most of human communication is nonverbal (55% is through body language alone). Her entire act from the way she dresses to her actions and mannerism to simply how she is—it’s fake modesty designed to grant plausible deniability in case anyone calls her out on how she isn’t actually modest. The only way to really say for certainty that it’s not modest is when you point out all the details and minutiae, which most people are either not conscious of, or struggle to put them into words (especially in the moment when under direct confrontation). That's why a lot of people who watched this video (and others like it) might feel it's implicitly sexual, yet would have trouble explaining why.
